Finally saw it and half-liked it.
It's visually very well done, but I'm not so sure about the actors, though.
But then again, I don't understand this language, and there's lots of talk and little action, so it feels rather too long. Loyal to the story, sure, but this is an adaptation. Show, not tell. (Lilja was right - this particular story seems better fit on the page)

There's a change from King's story that I don't think works so well. First she dreams that Harvey tells her his dream?
Hmmm, okay, I guess. Maybe it does work in its own weird way.

I can't download the subtitles, so that's another downside. I would like to see it again sometime with the subtitles in the film. It might become a better experience.

To sum it up: I really liked the visuals and the creepy (and sometimes dreamy) music. Gave it a surreal dreamlike atmosphere (I know, I know, that was the point). I also liked the Harvey with his suit-inserts. The flashbacks, too, although, again, I have no idea of
what was being said. So, a nice job most of the time, and I was glad to finally being to able to see it.

Lilja at Lilja's Library has reviewed this one, and wasn't too fond of it. It's a different language, of course, and seems to be too slow.
It is perhaps a story not really meant to be filmed, but only to exist on paper.
Would like to see this one, though.
