I did some animation once in a while, between 92 and 96, at school... it was on computer, and gosh, i was already attracted by that rotoscoping animation, from real live filming.

I think it's a great job done, and it's a funny way of seeing that short novel.

The story in itself is so 'fun' and uncredible that it doesn't bother me to see those funny looking toys.

It's really pleasant to see, even if the score is sooo typically unbearable and the cut is old fashioned.

i do like it! :P

BTW for those who wonder about the pronunciation of the title, (everyone from USA, I'd guess :D), it's "sra[je]ni:ye" ("je" is pronounced like the French "I" and is accented).

Quite good, although the soldiers were silly (King described the toys as realistic, if I recall), the Atari music was painful, and the repeated close ups in the end were pointless. Other than that, this one's not bad at all, especially considering that it's almost two decades old. Too bad about the lousy micr0$0ft .asf format and compression, though, as it would be nice to see this animation in proper quality, encoded to something watchable, such as XVid.
