It's good somehow, but just the first half; liked the parts with King the most and directors of some of his movies, but the second half is awful. It's focused more on hollywood, just hollywood and hollywood all over again, and fucking pop-culture... They mention the books but make them look like they're all blood-bath tales instead of human and horror (as an emotion, not as frequent violence, as it is portrayed here [don't know if on purpose]) stories, and what kind of ending was that? It lasted so goddamn quick. It went too long on King's old addiction to drugs, and then it ended, and they didn't even say if he stopped dealing with them or what the hell (of course a fan will know he did).
Old-time fans will enjoy it, despite of its crappiness. King-beginners, however (those who just have discovered him and want to learn more about his works), will be so dissapointed: they won't pick a book from him after watching this documentary. It's so bad structured. It shows a few of full scenes from movies, and we fans, who've read the stories and then watched the movies, know why that character did that bad thing to the other character, or why that particular bad thing happened to the character shown, but here the final result, with the viewer who's not familiar with these works, it's like shouting "Hey!, why did you do that?!" They just put 'em all there but they don't explain what's the real point of it. They just love showing Stephen King as "THE Horror Guy", and that's not true, he's more than just that. His stories and novels have more psychological deepness and human beauty and interaction than just a stupid popular horror story. His story-telling is not really about what's inside the closet, but about the people who own the closet. A lot of his readers recognize this, and even directors of his movies, such as Mick Garris and Frank Darabont, but evidently not the producers of this clip.
