On the road to end his life, a traveling salesman drives toward a small-town motel, carrying a worn notebook filled with graffiti messages he has he has collected over the years at rest stops. An obsession that anchors him and revels the tension between his despair and his passion. Along the way, news breaks of a mother and daughter brutally murdered nearby. The weapon, the timing, and his increasingly suspicious behavior all cast an ominous shadow, suggesting he may be tied to the crime. As suspicion, doubt and his own indecision mount, he is forced to confront how perception can shape reality and how a man’s choices may define him as much as the world does.
