The 1st Annual Dollar Baby Film Festival

On November 21, 2003, StephenKingShortMovies.com was born. It was such a success that 11 months later (September 25, 2004), The 1st Annual Dollar Baby Film Festival was organized in Maine, USA.

As part of the 1st Annual Dollar Baby Film Festival, Paranoid will screen at the University of Maine at Orono on September 25th at 7:00PM in the Corbett Business Building’s 300+ seat theater. The event will include two hours worth of rarely-seen adaptations of King’s works and a Q&A with directors following. Tickets will be $5 at the door and the proceeds will be donated to the Wavedancer Foundation, to support artists injured in accidents. Tickets are on sale the night of the show on a first come, first serve basis. No reservations.

I can’t find the program for that evening. As soon as I have it it will be added to this page.

Here is the play list for the 1st Annual Dollar Baby Film Festival held on September 25 in Maine:

  1. The Woman in the Room, directed by Frank Darabont
  2. The Lawnmower Man, directed by James Gonis
  3. Strawberry Spring, directed by Doveed Linder
